Kid Nation Episode 4

      I saw status when one of the little boys started to talk about religion. He said that religion causes war. He also said that religion is one of the most important things and everyone needs to listen to other religion.

     The next I saw was Social interaction when the girl gathered everyone to say a prayer by the camp fire. everyone said their own prayer to their own religion. It was nice because everyone got to speak their mind. and that is how I saw social interaction.

The other thing I saw used achieved status when they split up into different religious groups.
They also used it when the kids said they are who they are and no one can change it or who they are. Saying this as other kids can not change their religion.

I feel that the president did good when he donated the 90 percent of his salary to charity. I also think that this man is very kind and does not just think of him self. Most people do not donate that much of their salary to a charity but this man did. So now he lives off only 1,250 dollars and the rest he gave to a charity. People might call him poor but now he knows he has helped someone else. but he did it out of the kindness of his heart. And this is why I liked the idea of this.

Easter Break

My weekend, this weekend was fun we had a five day weekend. it was fun because I went to two different parties and I also went to my friends house. on Saturday I went to the zoo with my family and we also went out to eat in the loop. Also on Saturday I went and helped my mom move in to her new house. I also enjoyed this long weekend because I got to sleep in for most of the days. On Easter Sunday I spent time at hoe with my family and we all watched movies that night and the last day of the weekend I went out for lunch with my grandparents.

    I saw reference group when Graig was using curse words. When the other kids norms are when they don't cuss. The little girl said there is no reason for a kid to use that kind of language. And also when they stayed up late. And only got four hours of sleep.

   I saw reference group. Everybody looks up to the leaders of the town. And they are following in their tracks. They are also using reference by the leader helping and cooking. While the other kids help and look up to them.

   The town council used desocialization when they make new rules. They made a curfew and make everybody be inside the bunks at 9:30. They also used it when they assign  people jobs to help the town out. This is how the town council uses  desocialization.

     I saw culture when the little girl said in  her beliefs she does not want to kill the chickens. As the the boy said it is a part of life and that they should kill the chicken to get protein. then they would not let the people get the chickens.

     I saw laws when the green team was in the kitchen. The yellow team is the cooks. And the green team is the labors. But the whole yellow team has been doing the greens job. And the green team is doing the yellow teams job.

   I saw beliefs when the girl and the boy said that the town council is doing a bad job. they said no one is doing they're job. And the ones that are, are not getting credit.

The past weekend was really boring for me. I stayed home on Friday and Saturday. But on Sunday i went to the mall and hung out with my friends,and we also went out to eat. Then after we got done eating i WEnt to my cousins party. At his party we played basketball and football. We also cooked out. So i guess the weekend was ok.

Kid Nation

In the first episode.The little boy used  dramaturgy when he said he thinks he going to die out here. He really is not going to die. i think he said he was going to die because they are going to be hungry and cold.

  The one little boy used power when he dumped out the food. A whole pot of food got ruined. And the boy was not ever one of the town leaders. That is how that boy took power by dumping the big pot of food.but then after he did a really good speech.

   The blue team used  manifest function when they wrote blue team one the bathrooms and the other teams houses. and pushing around the little kids the blue team has the big kids and the strongest. They are being mean to the other teams.

Dear Mrs. DeBolt,

          My favorite color is red because some of my favorite sport teams are red. Some of my favorite sport teams are the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, and the St.Louis Cardinals. Some of my hobbies I like to do is to play basketball and to hang out with my friends. My dad is a truck driver for LTI we get a lot of free candy. LTI is a place that works for Hershey and Now and Later.

        Something awesome/interesting that happened to me is when I ran a 106 yard touchdown. The other team fumbled the ball in the end zone and I picked it up and ran down the side line. But the coolest thing about it was the first touchdown of the game. It also got my whole team pumped up. And that was one of the coolest things that happened to me.

       Some of the activities I like to do in technology is making the desktops or make a blog. some of the things I want to do in technology is make my own website or something like that. That would be awesome. My experience is not that long I have only been doing stuff on the comuter since 5th grade. I went to Crystal City and we really did not practice typing or anything else on the computer.

I think that video games do not make kids more violent ,because there are non violent video games. But there are violent video games but kids should not be playing those games. And if the kid is playing those type of games I still think it is not the video game that is making the kid violent. If the kid is becoming violent while playing or after playing those games the parent should not let the child play the game. there are rattings on the case of the game. There is also a game dissrippion on the back.
